Period delay: If your periods were regular previously (between 28-34 days apart), excessive emotional stress, weight gain, or heavy exercise may delay ovulation, which will delay the next period. Some "home pregnancy tests" are not accurate, so obtain a serum HCG test, and if negative, see your gyn physician for and exam and more testing.
