Late menstruation: Any operation has a small failure rate, so if your period does not occur in another 7-10 days, and has been regular previously, get a serum HCG test to be certain about pregnancy. If the test is negative, and increased stress (work, emotional, etc.) has occurred, your ovulation may have been delayed accordingly, which delays onset of menstruation.
