Lightheadedness: If you only note lightheadedness after standing for a while, it could be to postural hypotension meaning that your blood pressure drops inappropriately. To test for this, have your blood pressure taken sitting and then after standing a few minutes. There shouldn't be a significant drop in blood pressure. If there is your physician will check for causes and prescribe accordingly
