Not really: When traffic is blocked at an intersection and can’t get through to the mall on Black Friday, can you tell where those cars came from? You just know they can’t get into the mall. So it is with blocking pain from a large area. You know it is something in that area but you can’t be 100% sure it is that specific cause.
