Depends: Antibiotics are selected for the germ they are targeted to cure. Not all antibiotics kill all germs. If it was one of the antibiotics we use to cure chlamydia and given for the proper duration and dose it would cure it. Since you didn't mention the antibiotic there is no way to comment on whether this did happen.
