A member asked:

If my average menstrual cycle length is 31 days, what day is my period expected this month? is it ok for it to vary a few days?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Yes: Not every woman has exactly predictable periods. Variation by a day or two each month is completely normal and even larger variations usually do not reflect a problem. A 31 day cycle starts day 1 on the first day of bleeding and then bleeding will start again on day 32. You may count this out manually to figure out when to expect your period, but there are many apps that will assist you with this.
