Not a bad idea: The witch hazel may dry your skin out. A moisturizer will help with that especially in colder weather.

Depends: Whether a moisturizer should be used depends on the condition of your skin and the humidity level where you live. If you have oily skin, moisturizer would likely not be needed. However if your skin gets dry and itchy, a moisturizer may help.
