Seasonale bcp ?'s: Seasonale is a low dose oral combination contraceptive. At age 33, the lower dose of estrogen in the bcp may be causative of estrogen deprivation relative to the estrogen level at age 33, so symptoms like "hot flashes" may occur. The "bloating" is not usually a symptom from low dose oral bcp's, but punctuality and time of onset of bcp's may allow pregnancy: HCG test will reassure.
