A member asked:

When i have my period i get numbness and aching in vagina only eased with sitting down, not pregnant ?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Vaginal numbness: " Numbness or aching" vaginally during menses may be related to endometriosis, the symptoms of which can involve lower abdominal nerves which affect the vaginal area. Consult your gyn provider about endometriosis, and he/she may suggest a trial on oral contraceptives which decreases estrogen levels (if there are no contraindications).
