Breastfeeding mother of 8 month old. currently very fatiqued, having general body pains, dull headache, sore throat, swollen glands and low grade fever, is it flu or should i consult my gp?

Pattern non-specific: This pattern of symptoms could be from many different issues, usually infectious. True flu usually initiates with a high fever, but not always. The only way to separate flu from the other possibilities is an exam and testing. Since the Tamiflu treatment would only be helpful if started in the first day/2 of symptoms, a visit is reasonable.
