My mri says i have mucoperiosteal thickening of the ethmoid sinuses without air fluid level. what does that mean? was not explained to me by my pcp.

It means: mild or chronic sinusitis of the ethmoid sinuses. Sometimes this is an incidental finding and no treatment is necessary. The ethmoids are one of the groups of sinuses around the nasal passage(paranasal sinuses). A fluid level, if present, would imply a more acute sinusitis.
