A member asked:

Is getting irregular periods healthier than none at all?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Better than none: Irregular periods at least advises the owner that the system is trying to work albeit sporadically. The most common cause is irregular or absent ovulation if not on hormonal contraception. However, neither condition is healthier than the other as both require investigation by a GYN MD.
