Neuropathy: When the sensory nerves are irritated for a variety of reasons they may cause a sensation of burning or tingling on the bottom of the feet that may go away at times and sometimes stays for prolonged periods of time. Capsacin is on cream recommended to treat this and it may be diagnostic. If you have diabetes, this may be a predisposing factor.
