I have severe LBP: Severe neuro-musculo-skeletal lower back pain can be caused by muscle spasm, sprain, slipped disc, "pinched nerve", vertebral fracture, spinal stenosis, rheum disorders such as ankylosing spondylitis, spondylolisthesis, discitis, osteomyelitis, metastatic cancer, local tumor, etc. Etc. Etc. Proper evaluation by a physician is required to make the correct diagnosis as treatment varies for each.
