A member asked:

V. high specific gravity test not dehydrated but have flank and pelvic pain on both sides. related? what could cause this?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Specific gravity: Urine specific gravity is high when one is not drinking enough water or liquids, and even if not clinically dehydrated, a urinary infection may develop to cause flank/pelvic pain. Pelvic infections can also cause concentration of urine and pain, so see your gyn provider for an exam and testing.
