Why would i all of sudden get lipedema when i been exercising and eating healthier? maybe from stopping the depo birth control shot?

Unsure cause: According to the NIH, the cause of lipedema is unknown; however, there is evidence of hormonal and hereditary influences. Many people with lipedema have a family history of similarly enlarged legs. It is considered to be a Genetic and Rare Disease by the NIH. It would be difficult to know how the Depo-Provera shot has influenced this.
