Birth control pill: It is very important to take birth control pills (oral contraceptives) exactly as directed. Skipping days can lead to bleeding, and more importantly, you may no longer be protected. Please call your provider for best instructions; in the meanwhile, be sure to use another form of contraception for this month and the first week of the next.
