Get checked : Men can have a STI without any obvious symptoms. The bump could be an incidental event, unrelated to any STI. Periodic screening if you are sexually active is a reasonable thing to do. Your doc can order a specific STD urine test that looks for some and do a blood test to screen for others.(As well as look at the bump)
