What could be the cause of this?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

IBS: Irritable bowel or hyperactive gastrocolic reflex which occurs as food enters the stomach and starts waves of peristalsis all the way through the intestinal tract to the rectum resulting in a very urgent bowel movement. Antispasmodic medications prevent it. Other possibilities include intestinal tract infection, severe specific food intolerance, recent antibiotic use. Discuss with your MD or gastroe
