I had an endometrial ablasion 6 years ago. i have now started "spotting". i am on hormone replacements for menopause. do i need to be oncerned, or is this normal?

Residual endometrium: Even after an ablation, there can be residual endometrium left inside the uterus which is then stimulated by estrogen of the hormone replacement therapy. If it persists, your GYN MD may consider a endometrial biopsy to sample the endometrium and make sure that it is not endometrial hyperplasia a forerunner to cancer.
