Both the Oral and injected forms are considered best available efforts to protect against Typhoid but none will guarantee protection against all strains. Vaccines are never a good substitute for proper selection of food & drink sources that may carry the germ. Both can produce fever, aches & pains, nausea, vomiting & diarrhea.
