Vaginal "nail tips": First and foremost, this area has an abundant blood supply and as long as it doesn't get infected will heal naturally with these "tips". Wash the outside of the vulva gently twice daily with a antibacterial soap like Hibiclens . Avoid aggravating the area with tampons, tight underwear/jeans, and poor hygiene when voiding or defecating. The final "nail tip" is to clip them before vaginal use.
