What's the cause?: This doesn't happen unless there is an underlying problem -- do you know what this is? An infection in an embryonic remnant, which some folks still have here, may be remarkably difficult to treat -- has imaging with contrast been done? There's no guessing without a full examination of your microbiology results what antibiotic to use, and surgery may be your best hope. Good luck.
