PID: If you were diagnosed with PID, but your symptoms did not resolve with outpatient antibiotic treatment, then you need to be hospitalized for inpatient IV antibiotics. Please see your doctor asap or go to the ED, because if this is not treated properly the infection can progress and worsen.
