My face, neck and eyes are super red and hot, my temp is normal had mirena taken out on the 21st & have type 1 diabetes. now have cold shivers but face is still red. battling insomnia too. why would this be happening?

Depends on age: and hormonal factors. If you are menopausal ( no cycles at all) you may be experiencing the classic "hot flashes: associated with menopause; however, thyroid dysfunction and poor diabetic control may be factors. Please consult your GYN for alternative therapy and reevaluation.
