I have what seems to be an infected hair follicle on my chin. it's affecting the left side of my face.

Need consult: If the lesion is "affecting the left side of face" then you may need antibiotics or even an incision to drain the lesion. A primary care provider could examine you and make the call. In the meantime I would wash with a wash cloth and soap and water. Happy healing!
