Probably not serious: This doesn't sound at all serious; very unlikely to be anything dangerous, like cancer or an STD. Warts usually are not black. Depending on details, things that come to mind are prominent sebaceous gland with a blackhead on top; hemangioma; mole; seborrheic keratosis. If it continues to concern you, see a doctor.

Most common: reason = "blood blister" (from trauma) HOWEVER a black bump ANYWHERE should be checked out..an in person visit is best! Hope this is helpful! Dr Z
