A member asked:

28 weeks pregnant and pain in the top part of the stomach ?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Doctor can evaluate: That pain could be due to many things, such as gastritis, stomach reflux, stomach flu, etc..., or could be cramps or contractions from preterm labor. One can be checked out by her Ob-Gyn doctor. That may mean going to the hospital and staying in the Labor and Delivery ward to be monitored to see what is going on. Meanwhile, avoid physical activities, having sex, and bumpy rides to the hospital.
