I have very irregular periods i would like to start planning to have a family. is there something i can try before visiting a gyne.

You can use ovulation predictor kits to help. However, it is a good idea to have your thyroid checked before you try to get pregnant since that could be the cause of your irregular periods, & could cause a miscarriage.
