A member asked:

My asthma is kinda uncontrolled. i use my puffer regularly but i do 2hrs cardio mon-fri. i want to become pregnant, will my asthma hurt the baby?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Yes: It sounds like you need to meet with your doc and develop a personal asthma management plan. Such a plan would allow you to increase or decrease daily maintenance meds (inhaled steroid) based on certain symptoms/factors and reduce your puffer use to where it should be=once or twice a week or less. Poor management can place both your babies life and yours at risk.
