Not curable: There is no cure for herpes, but it is a very treatable disease and for most patients is actually not a big deal. There is a lot of stigma around herpes, so people are afraid of it, but it’s actually not a big deal. There are many anti-viral medications such as Valtrex that you can take to treat outbreaks if you had it.
