Genital warts: If you are a regular partner of the woman with genital and anal warts, you can assume you have been infected and may even have been the source of her HPV infection(s). If it's a one-time recent exposure, you weren't necessarily infected, but obviously there is some chance of it. However, all humans get genital HPV, often several times; any single exposure doesn't significantly raise overall risk.

Highly likely: Genital warts are caused by the virus HPV. It is highly contagious. Since you have a recent partner with genital warts it is likely that you have been exposed. You can examine your genitals and anus to see if you see any warts. If you are uncertain then have a doctor examine you. If no warts are visible then no action is required at this time. Visible warts can be treated. Get the HPV vaccine too.
