A 36-year-old member asked:

what are common causes and cures for lower back pain?

Cure for back pain: Back pain is ubiquitous. If you live long enough, 80% chance you'll have it. 40% of any group has some degree of back pain right now. #2 cause of missed work days after common cold. Soooooo, no cure. Good treatment strategy is prevention: don't smoke (4-5x rate of back probs), keep the core strong with pilates/piyo/yoga, avoid decompression (spelunking, or diving), and that's about it. Sorry.
