Pain with ovulation: In one's mid 30"s, the ovary requires more estrogen to produce an egg, and the drop in estrogen which occurs just prior to ovulation is like the first day of a period, and bloating with "body aches" is common. You might ask your gyn provider about low dose oral contraceptives, which will turn off the estrogen and stop these reactions to rapid drops in estrogen.
