Maybe not.: The VCF Strip website says the contraceptive is 94% effective, which in plain English means 1 out of 16 women using it for one year get pregnant by the end of that year (95% effective would mean 1 out of 20 get pregnant, and 99% effective would mean 1 out of 100 get pregnant). Home pregnancy tests are very accurate by 3 weeks after sex, or 1 week after missing a regular monthly period.
