Limited value: For the diagnosis of food allergies, there's no substitute for the history. Testing is full of false-negatives and false-positives. If the reaction seems life-threatening, get with an allergist to learn how to manage, avoid and treat this. Otherwise, you need to experiment -- keep a food diary, and perhaps an allergist can guide you. Blood and skin testing is of some, but limited, use.
