Reflux: Nothing is 100% but reflux may be curable if h pylori infection is eradicated but even this is debatable in the medical literature. Otherwise treatment of reflux should control symptoms, but if treatment is suspended, reflux may recur. Avoidance of caffeine,alcohol,nicotine and anti-inflammatory medication like ibuprofen and aspirin may be effective. Taking ppi meds or h2 blockers like zantac help
