Not uncommon...: 29 y/o Female says, i have flu... and I always have a terrible headache isn't normal. Headaches, even 'terrible ones like Migraine' are not uncommon with flu but other considerations like Hypertension should also be considered. Best to see PCP for proper management.

Clinic visit: A diagnosis of flu will depend on a physical exam and rapid influenza diagnostic test done at a medical clinic as soon as possible. In the meantime make certain you drink a lot of water, avoid alcohol and illicit drugs, rest, keep warm and get good nutrition from things like chicken soup, veggies and fruit. Also take a daily multi-vitamin and an extra vitamin C supplement if possible.
