My daughter accidentally cut her finger with glass very deep. how do i know if she needs stitches.

Several factors: If it gapes open rather than staying closed. If the bleeding is hard to stop. If there may ne glass in the wound. If its length is more than 1/2 inch. All these factors would suggest she needs to be evaluated. How it is closed will depend on additional factors such as location that would be known after evaluation.
