Evaluation: Brown discharge often is old blood. Bleeding in pregnancy may be common but we never consider it normal. It should be evaluated by your obgyn.

PG & discharge: A brown discharge during pregnancy can indicate early old bleeding or other issues. You need to contact your treating OB MD and if you don't have one yet, make an appointment for a visit soon.
