Yes: In small children, it is common to get irritation or even yeast infection from not wiping properly. Working with your child to teach proper hygiene, avoiding bubble baths, perfumed soaps, and perfumed clothing detergents will all help. Using a diaper cream to protect skin in case of not wiping well is fine or could try over the counter yeast infection meds
