I believe i have been exposed to chlamydia.. i have a script for amoxicillin 500mg i read that it is an alternative for pregnant women. i am not pregnant will this still help?

Need proper eval: Your suspicion may be true but STD's can travel as a group & effective treatment requires proper identification. Gonorrhea will not be cured with amoxicillin. Treatments also require proper dosing & duration. Since both gonorrhea & chlamydia can make you sterile it is worth making sure treatment is done right & follow up testing is done to assure a cure.
