Are parasites visible from ct or mri scans?

Okay, I'll bite: The parasites themselves will not usually be evident. However, an inflammatory response reaction or unusual appearance of the body trying to wall off the parasite may be seen. The bottom line is, do they cause a reaction in the body that will show up on our radiologic scans.

Can be: It is usually the damage they cause but there are some worms that may be evident but it would be a large invective burden.
