That said, recent research has found them to be key in the spread of MRSA (an antibiotic-resistant bacteria) and C-diff in hospitals. Alcohol and bleach-based disinfectant cleaning solutions have been most commonly used to clean BP cuffs. I see no reason why chlorhexidine could not be used as well.
