After i ate sweet, i have swollen soft palate in the morning with phlegm. and the next day i have swollen throat but i dont feel anything else, i dont have fever or runny nose. will it affect my baby? im 23 weeks pregnant.

Throat swelling: The ingestion of "sweet" nutrition and the symptoms described are coincidental. You may have a minor viral upper respiratory infection, but will not affect a 23 week pregnancy. If a temperature elevation and more profound symptoms occurs, of course see your OB provider.
