I did a finger stick to check my blood sugar levels and it was 167. this was 5 hours post eating. is that high and i'm only 33yrs old.

Likely high: You may want to contact your doctor to get examined and to confirm whether you indeed have diabetes by testing on your HgbA1c level as well. Since untreated diabetes can lead to serious consequences , it needs be treated as early as possible via lifestyle changes and /or medications. The question is why did you test yourself in the 1st place? Did you have suspicion that you might have diabetes ?
