White stool: White poop occurs when there is inadequate bile. Bile is a brownish liquid produced by the liver and stored in the gall bladder. It is secreted into the small intestine during digestion. If liver isn't producing bile or there is obstruction white stools can result. It can also occur if someone takes antacids containing aluminum hydroxide. Important to followup with your child's pediatrician.
