Can you be 8 weeks pregnant and take a home pregnancy test and it come out negative could i have had a miscarriage or could the test just be false one?

Could be both: It could be that there isn't enough of the pregnancy hormone to measure and convert the test to positive as in an ectopic pregnancy. It could also have been a missed abortion/early miscarriage as well.
