IUD removal: If the IUD was pushed into the cervical canal, bleeding and pain would occur. The IUD may also have not prevented a pregnancy, which might account for the persistent bleeding (10 days). If pregnant, it could be in your tube, so get a serum HCG test to make sure about possible pregnancy. If negative, stop the pills and start a new package five days later. Take them the same time each evening.
