Antidepressants: Sorry to hear about this situation. Please think holistically. Don't change meds w/out MD/DO guidance. Then look at your diet and exercise level. See a clinical psychologist to learn skills to manage depression. See a book called "Feeling Good" by David Burns to help adjust your "self talk." A blend of treatments can be best, not only meds. Peace and good health.

Suicide Prevention: You have described a serious depression but you may also suffer from an underlying illness such as cancer or an infectious illness. I suggest a complete medical exam at a clinic to start. Also, make certain you eat nutritious foods such a fish, veggies, and fruits. Do not use drugs or alcohol. Try to exercise and sleep well regularly. If needed call the National Suicide Lifeline at 1-800-273-8255.

Antidepressant info: Your question is great with regard to symptom information, but lacking with regard to what medications have been taken, for how long, and at what strength. You may taken everything, but I doubt it. For example, have you taken an MAOI or Latuda? Did you take the latter with your main meal of the day?
